Cancellations & Pre-Orders

Effective Date: September 2026

This policy governs cancellation requests for orders placed with Vach Cittoni and products expressly offered as pre-orders or other deferred-fulfillment purchases.

Returns after delivery are governed separately by our Return Policy & EU Withdrawal.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, waives, or modifies any consumer right that applicable law does not permit Vach Cittoni to exclude or restrict.

Standard Order Cancellation Requests

Customers may request cancellation of an order before the order has entered fulfillment.

A cancellation request is not a guarantee that an order will be cancelled except where applicable law provides a cancellation right.

Vach Cittoni processes orders as promptly as reasonably possible. Once processing or fulfillment has begun, it may no longer be operationally possible to stop the order.

For purposes of discretionary cancellation, an order may be considered to have entered fulfillment where, among other things:

• The order has been released for fulfillment.
• Picking or packing has begun.
• A shipping label has been created.
• The order has been transferred to a fulfillment provider.
• The shipment has been tendered to or accepted by a carrier.
• The order has otherwise progressed beyond the point where Vach Cittoni can reasonably stop shipment.

These limitations remain subject to any cancellation or withdrawal right that applicable law requires Vach Cittoni to provide.

Approved Cancellations

Where Vach Cittoni approves cancellation before fulfillment, amounts properly refundable will be returned to the original method of payment, unless the customer expressly agrees to another method.

Vach Cittoni may offer store credit as an alternative.

A customer will not be required to accept store credit where applicable law requires reimbursement to the original payment method or otherwise requires a monetary refund.

Once an order has entered fulfillment or shipped, it is no longer treated as an ordinary cancellation request.

Any applicable return or statutory withdrawal rights will then be handled under the Return Policy & EU Withdrawal.

Pre-Orders

A pre-order is an order placed for a product that is not available for immediate shipment and is expected to be fulfilled at a later date.

Unless otherwise disclosed during the purchase process, Vach Cittoni may collect:

• Full payment at checkout; or
• A partial payment or deposit where the applicable pre-order arrangement permits it.

Any specific payment schedule or material pre-order condition will be disclosed during the purchase process.

Estimated Pre-Order Fulfillment Dates

Any estimated production, availability, release, or shipping date provided for a pre-order is supplied in good faith based on information reasonably available to Vach Cittoni at that time.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, these dates are estimates and not guarantees.

Pre-order fulfillment may be affected by:

• Production schedules.
• Raw-material availability.
• Component availability.
• Packaging availability.
• Quality-control requirements.
• Regulatory requirements.
• Transportation or freight delays.
• Customs delays.
• Carrier interruption.
• Supply-chain disruption.
• Events outside Vach Cittoni's reasonable control.

Vach Cittoni may revise an estimated fulfillment date where reasonably necessary.

A change to an estimated date does not automatically cancel the order unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Where applicable law requires notice, consent, a cancellation option, or a refund because of a delay, Vach Cittoni will comply with that requirement.

Cancelling an Unfulfilled Pre-Order

A customer may request cancellation of a pre-order before it enters fulfillment.

Unless applicable law provides otherwise, submission of a cancellation request does not automatically cancel the pre-order.

Vach Cittoni may determine whether discretionary cancellation remains operationally possible based on the order status when the request is received.

Where Vach Cittoni approves cancellation and payment has already been collected, the refundable amount will be returned to the original method of payment unless another method is expressly agreed to.

Pre-Orders That Have Entered Fulfillment

Once a pre-order has entered fulfillment, Vach Cittoni may refuse a discretionary cancellation request to the fullest extent permitted by law.

After shipment, any return or statutory withdrawal rights are governed by the Return Policy & EU Withdrawal, including Vach Cittoni's sealed-fragrance rules and any mandatory statutory consumer protections.

Pre-Order Delays

A delay in an estimated pre-order date does not automatically terminate or cancel the order unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Where Vach Cittoni reasonably expects a material delay, Vach Cittoni may provide an updated estimated fulfillment date.

Any statutory delivery or cancellation right arising because of delay remains unaffected.

For transactions subject to Alberta law, mandatory internet-sales cancellation rights remain available where the statutory requirements for those rights are met.

Cancellation by Vach Cittoni

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vach Cittoni may refuse, verify, restrict, delay, or cancel an order or pre-order where reasonably necessary because of:

• Suspected fraud.
• Unauthorized payment activity.
• Payment verification failure.
• Incorrect, incomplete, or materially misleading customer information.
• Inventory or availability error.
• Pricing or technical error.
• Inability to obtain, manufacture, or lawfully supply the product.
• Regulatory or shipping restriction.
• Sanctions or legal restrictions.
• Suspected unauthorized commercial resale or diversion.
• Abuse of discounts, promotions, returns, or purchasing systems.
• Security concerns.
• A circumstance that means the order cannot reasonably or lawfully be fulfilled.

Where Vach Cittoni cancels a paid order, amounts legally due to the customer will be returned to the original method of payment unless another method is expressly agreed to.

European Union Customers

European Union consumers may have statutory cancellation and withdrawal rights in addition to this policy.

Qualifying EU consumers generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for eligible distance contracts, subject to applicable statutory exceptions.

The applicable framework, including sealed-fragrance considerations, return timing, refund rules, and the electronic withdrawal function, is addressed in our Return Policy & EU Withdrawal.

Eligible EU consumers may also use the electronic withdrawal function provided through VachCittoni.com.

Nothing in this policy limits a mandatory EU cancellation or withdrawal right.

Fraudulent or Abusive Cancellation Requests

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vach Cittoni may investigate or refuse cancellation-related requests where there is reasonable evidence of:

• Fraud.
• Chargeback abuse.
• Payment manipulation.
• False representations.
• Promotional abuse.
• Deliberate circumvention of purchasing limits.
• Repeated abusive ordering and cancellation behaviour.
• Other conduct reasonably intended to cause loss or misuse Vach Cittoni's purchasing systems.

Where lawful, Vach Cittoni may:

• Refuse future orders.
• Restrict purchasing privileges.
• Preserve relevant records.
• Report suspected fraudulent activity to payment processors, financial institutions, carriers, insurers, law enforcement, or other appropriate authorities.

Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Cancellations & Pre-Orders Policy excludes, restricts, waives, or modifies any statutory consumer right, warranty, remedy, cancellation right, delivery right, or withdrawal right that applicable law does not permit Vach Cittoni to exclude or restrict.

Where a provision conflicts with a mandatory rule of applicable law, that mandatory rule will prevail only to the extent of the conflict, and the remainder of this policy will continue to apply.
