Return & European Union Withdrawal Policy
Effective Date: July 2026
At Vach Cittoni, every fragrance is carefully manufactured, inspected, and packaged before leaving our facility. Due to the personal nature of fragrance products and our commitment to product integrity, authenticity, and customer safety, we maintain the following Return & European Union Withdrawal Policy.
Our goal is simple: if we cannot confidently sell a returned product as new, we will not accept its return.
Standard Return Policy
Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving their order.
To be eligible for a return, products must:
- Be unused.
- Remain unopened.
- Be in their original condition.
- Include all original packaging, inserts, and accessories.
- Have the original factory shrink wrap fully intact.
- Have the original tamper-evident security seal fully intact.
Products that do not meet these conditions are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Sealed Hygiene-Sensitive Products
Every Vach Cittoni fragrance is supplied in factory shrink wrap and secured with a tamper-evident security seal.
For the purpose of this policy, a fragrance is considered opened if:
- The factory shrink wrap has been removed.
- The tamper-evident security seal has been broken, removed, or damaged.
- The product packaging has been opened.
- The fragrance has been sprayed, tested, used, altered, or tampered with.
Opened fragrance products are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Customers wishing to preserve any applicable return or withdrawal rights must leave the shrink wrap and tamper-evident security seal completely intact.
European Union Right of Withdrawal
Consumers located within the European Union may have statutory withdrawal rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Customers may exercise any applicable withdrawal rights within 14 days of receiving their order.
To remain eligible for withdrawal, products must remain:
- Unopened
- Unused
- In their original condition
- Factory shrink wrapped
- Protected by the original tamper-evident security seal
Where permitted by applicable law, removal of the shrink wrap or tamper-evident security seal places the product within the exemption applicable to sealed hygiene-sensitive goods. As a result, the product becomes ineligible for withdrawal, return, refund, or exchange.
Customers exercising a valid right of withdrawal after shipment are responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, VAT, brokerage fees, import taxes, handling charges, and any other costs associated with returning the product unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Nothing contained within this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights provided under applicable law.
Return Authorization
Before returning any product, customers must contact Vach Cittoni to obtain a Return Authorization.
Returns received without prior authorization may be refused.
Issuing a Return Authorization does not guarantee acceptance of the returned product.
Inspection of Returned Products
Every returned shipment is inspected upon arrival.
Products will be refused if inspection identifies:
- Broken or removed shrink wrap.
- Broken or removed tamper-evident security seals.
- Opened packaging.
- Missing packaging or inserts.
- Signs of use or testing.
- Spray residue.
- Fragrance loss.
- Damage caused after delivery.
- Product substitution or tampering.
If a refused return must be shipped back to the customer, all associated shipping costs shall be the responsibility of the customer.
Refund Processing
Refunds are issued only after:
- The returned product has been received.
- The returned product has been inspected.
- The returned product has been confirmed to comply with this Return Policy.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
Original shipping charges, customs charges, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and optional Shipping Protection fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
Please allow your financial institution adequate time to process your refund once it has been issued.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Orders
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or appears defective, please contact hello@vachcittoni.com within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Clear photographs of:
- The shipping carton.
- The shipping label.
- The product.
- The packaging.
- Any visible damage.
Vach Cittoni reviews every claim individually and will work toward an appropriate resolution.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Opened fragrance products.
- Products with removed or damaged shrink wrap.
- Products with removed or damaged tamper-evident security seals.
- Products showing evidence of use, testing, or tampering.
- Gift cards.
- Clearance or Final Sale items.
- Complimentary promotional items unless required by applicable law.
Fraud Prevention
To protect both our customers and our business, Vach Cittoni may document, photograph, or otherwise record products and shipments prior to dispatch for quality assurance, fraud prevention, and claims verification purposes.
False claims, fraudulent returns, chargeback abuse, or intentional misuse of this Return Policy may result in the refusal of future orders and may be reported to the appropriate payment processor or relevant authorities where permitted by law.
